Stopped in Elko for the night and stopped here for breakfast on our way to Tahoe. Excellent veggie omelette with green chilies and avocado! Husband had one of the skillets and said it was great too! The best part was the excellent customer service. Enjoyed it very much!!
“Great Italian restaurant”

We were traveling and found this little restaurant downtown in Elko. It was packed by 5:30 pm and seemed to be mostly locals. I had the butternut squash ravioli and marinara, which was tasty vegetarian special entree for $16, and my partner had Italian sausage ravioli. Servings were moderate, filled a large bowl. Both came with a little salad and crusty bread. Wine was $5. Service was quite efficient and friendly. We would certainly return.
“Our favorite Mexican restaurant!”

We always look forward to eating at LaFiesta when we are in Elko. This time I had the seafood enchilada. It was stuffed with huge chunks of crab and shrimp. Delicious! My husband always orders Carne Asada and is never disappointed. The servers are always attentive and friendly. It has a very casual atmosphere.

I stopped for lunch and had the tri-tip dip w/o any of the cheese or onions, with a side salad. They use the French Onion soup broth as the dip. Portion was perfect and the salad was mixed greens, walnut, onion, and fresh parmesan. Under $20 with iced tea and tip. I would absolutely go again.
The small community of Elko, located in northeastern Nevada, offers great views of the nearby Ruby Mountains. Topping out at 5,060 feet in altitude, the high desert area hosts several parks offering plenty of recreational activities. History buffs find two museums that explore the culture and history of the people who call the American West home.

Very nice facility, very informative and interesting. We've stopped twice here and found it very worthwhile - we keep learning. They had a few school classes go through while we were there. The staff are great with them as well as with us adults. It was fun watching them.
